Well, maybe not all <\/em>about her, but let’s be honest:\u00a0what is CanaryNoir.com<\/em> if NOT a shrine to her awesomeness?\u00a0<\/p>\n

The plan for this new blog is to be a place for my sequential art ramblings — comics and manga — and to keep some sort of updating going on at CanaryNoir<\/em> to make the Birdwatching<\/a> <\/em>archive less lonely.<\/p>\n

But back to BC.\u00a0 I like to think the site and I have played some role in her renaissance (or ‘naissance) as one of the true leading ladies in the DCU.\u00a0 She’s getting her own mini, she’s in the JLA, she’s got some pretty great swag coming out (at last at last).<\/p>\n

Gail Simone (may she write great comic chix forever, amen) may have written her out of Birds of Prey<\/em>, but Canary hasn’t vanished.\u00a0 Gail is, of course, moving on the Wonder Woman <\/em>— fantastic news — and I’m sure I’m not the only one who hopes Dinah might visit Diana after Gail gets the princess all sorted and established as the truly kick-ass Amazon we’ve long known her to be.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
